Let's Be Lucky Racehorse Shares

Pages » Free Information » Let's Be Lucky Racehorse Shares

2018 is our best year with 9 winners and we have every chance of more winners before the end of the year Jabbaar won 2 races, Logi Won 3 races , Mearing Won 2 races and  Berlios & Natajack and Won1 race each.
We now have 13 horses in full training. Jabbaar, Logi, Mearing, Natajack, Song Of Summer, Majeste, Leeshaan, Tiercel, Flood Defence, Newstead Abbey, Boing, Muhajjal and Sioux Frontier.
They are our team for 2019 and I will be amazed if we don't have 15 to 20 winners in the  year. ANYTHING MORE WILL BE A BONUS.
Newstead Abbey gives us out 1st winner of 2019. Great ride from Theodore Ladd!

By Excelebration out of 100+ rated Sioux Rising (15 % available!)
We are very excited about this 3 year 67 rated Gelding.  He beat a good yard stick Admiral Rooke at Hamilton and that form is solid. Iain Jardine liked him a lot and he's 100% sound with no problem's at all. He has the scope  to improve a lot and Iain will have him ready to race in January. His mother did all her winning between 3 and 5 Year Old and he is also a late maturing sort. His trip looks like being between 1 mile and 1 mile and 2 furlongs.

Sioux Frontier was our No.1 target and we are over the moon that we secured his purchase and we were prepared to pay a lot more.

Watch him beating Admiral Rooke to win at Hamilton:

Admiral Rooke beat Mearing at Thirsk and other horses to beat him into 2nd were prolific winners Jackpot Royale, Mountain Breath and Bedouin's Story. The reason Sioux Frontier never won as many races was because he was not placed or ridden well. Since purchase he has had a nice break and has been back in full training for a few weeks and is doing just great. We are very excited about this fellow.

2.5% = £285 5% £550 10% £1,080.

The price includes 2 months training  (1 at 1/2 price) Transport from the sales VAT and partnership set up. All expenses covered to 31/12/18.

Should you wish to buy a share in him, please email me ASAP.

Flood Defence 4 year old filly by Harbour Watch.  - Iain Jardine (15% AVAILABLE)

Very well bought and has been placed at Haydock and Hamilton since purchase.

Newstead Abbey (Fully Sold)
Flood Defence - She may well turn out to be the best purchase we have ever made. Came in late and has not been able to run because she needs cut. The only reason we got her for 2,000 Gns was because nobody was in the sales ring because of the World Cup Semi Final kicking off. She's won 2 and been placed 6 times from just 12 starts. She is also a massive filly that we can send jumping after we have some fun on the flat with her. She too will be ready to race from September onwards. Iain  Jardine has her in his stable now and likes her a lot. She ran well on all 4 starts on the sand at Kempton, Chelmsford, Wolverhampton and Newcastle and would have won races on the sand if she had run over further. She's been placed on 2 from her 1st 5 starts for us and we bet her E/W at 40/1 advised at Hamilton and again when a close 2nd at Haydock. She is also better than her last 5 runs suggest including her latest start when a fast finishing 3rd at Wolverhampton on the 26th of December. We think she will win several races in 2019.

Boing - 2015 Gelding by Bated Breath - Rebecca Bastiman
A cracking young horse at a value price. He's half brother to Urban Fox that won the Group 1 Pretty Polly at the Curragh in July.
Before purchase I was told if we got him right he will be a nice horse. Since purchase I have been told he is a 7 furlong horse and was not far off the best 3 year old horses in the stable. A bout of sore shins did not help him in his last 2 runs .He is very  bought and could be anything in the future. He will be gelded and prepared for the All Weather season. He was an Eyecatcher on his debut when 3rd in behind 2 decent horses. The 2nd from that race won and Ascot handicap on the 14th of July off 82. Boing has settled in to his new stable well and has put on plenty of weight.  I am very happy that we bought him in July because he's now well over his gelding and has grown into his frame.  He's been in training for 2 months now and has had a gallop at Malton and will soon go for a track gallop. He's got bags of improvement in him and could be anything but picked up an injury in his final bit of work before racing that will keep him out of action until 2020.
Muhajjal - 2014 Gelding by Cape Cross - Rebecca Bastiman (27.5% available)
He's a smashing horse that is open to bundles of improvement for a change of stable. His 2 year old Maiden form was top class and  there is every chance he will come on bundles for going to a  stable that will give him time in the paddocks.  He will be gelded and  built up into the the best horse he can be. Rebecca said he moves like a dream, has tons of ability and is very well handicapped. Rebecca is feeding him a lot more than other horses and he's building up well. We are very excited about this fellow. He won on the sand and is now well handicapped because his previous trainer just went through the motions and did nothing to improve him. He got over his Gelding well and was given time relax before his all important wind operation. He passed his ground scope well which means his lungs are in good order and had laser surgery done, the VET was delighted with the work he done on Muhajjall. He is now being brought back to full fitness after his wind operation. All has gone to plan with him and we have given him the chance to be thet top class horse he should have been as a 3 year old.

Tiercel - 2013 Gelding by Olden Times out of Sharp Mode by Diesis. (Fully Sold)

Tiercel has been gelded since his purchase on the 1st of February and this classy handicapper had a nightmare turf season because he had ulcers and then go a bug which meant he was not able to build on a promising debut run. He is expected to do a lot better in 2019.

Natajack - 2014 Gelding by Showcasing out of Duoro by Manduro. (Fully Sold)

I was interested in him because he is such a big strong individual and I do think he is very well bought. Since purchase Rebecca has been told he was regarded as a potential group horse as a 2 year old and she also fixed a big problem inside his mouth that her dentist though was a long term problem. He won a race in 2018 at Hamilton but broke a small bone in his foot and will not race again until the turf season in 2019.

Song Of Summer - 2015 Filly by Choisir out of  Height Of Summer by Alhaarth. (20%for Sale )

Will be trained by Iain Jardine. She is a cracking filly that had 3 runs for a mark and then won well on her handicap debut at Doncaster. She has been placed twice since her win including a very nice run in October at Lingfield over 7 furlongs and she's a massive filly with plenty of scope and looks more like a 3 year old. She also looks like she will stay very well. Robin Bastiman who checked the horse out said she will be a cracking 3 and 4 year old. She has done nothing but eat since we bought her,  is very laid back and has every chance of filling her massive frame. Song Of Summer is expected her to win races in 2019 and if she stays well, go jumping in the Autumn. She has not been easy to win with but she has been growing and we now know how she needs to be ridden.

Majeste - 2014 Gelding by  Acclamation out of  Winged Valkyrie By Hawk Wing (Fully Sold)

Will be trained by Rebecca Bastiman. 103 rated as a 2 year old that won his maiden well before going on to be 4th in the Champagne Stakes at Doncaster. Things have not gone to plan with him as a 3 year old but I have had some good reports about him and he's expected to improve a lot for moving stables. He still shows all his ability at home but has been messed about on the track. He clearly never stayed in the Dee Stakes and was gelded after that. I do think he's a miler and he's worked his way down to a very good mark and is expected to do well for us in 2019.

Leeshaan - 2015 Gelding by Bated Breath out of La Grand Elisa by Ad Valorem. (Fully Sold)

Will be trained by Rebecca Bastiman. His early season Maiden form worked out very well and he has matched strides and beaten horses now rated over 100 and have either been placed in listed and group class races.

He grew a lot in 2018 and he was put away after he got a knock. He's well handicapped and should go well in 2019.

Mearing - 3 year old by Aussie Rules (Fully Sold)

He ran 2 very nice races in decent contests at Wetherby and Kempton before we bought him and once for Iain Jardine and he ran OK on his 1st start for us  October,  he was promptly gelded after the race and has done nothing but improve this year, winning twice and being placed 3 times from his last 5 starts in 2018. He should do very well in 2019.

We also have a very exciting new syndicate for 2018/19 - THE YEARLING CLUB.

Please go to this page for full details.

JABBAAR (Fully Sold)

He got a well deserved win Catterick in October and we expect plenty of improvement from him in 2018.  He has tons of scope and has every chance of showing plenty of improvement as he gets older. He's from a late blooming family and should do very for us and his trainer Iain Jardine. Our Star, had a good 2018 but I do think he should have won at least 2 more races. From a late developing family I expect a lot more from him in 2019.

Logi won on his debut for us early in 2017 at Wolverhampton and he has improved bundles for going to Rebecca Bastiman, Winning  2 races at Hamilton and 1 at Ayr in 2018. We expect him to do very well in 2019 and the plan is to have him in training with us for at least another 2 turf seasons. He will be running again in January.
